Friday 13.8.10
I'm thankful that Friday 13th's tend to go alright for me! I was grateful in being allowed the last half hour off the "accursed day job" and could spend an extra 50 minutes at home. I'm so grateful for my family and my relationships with them. I'm grateful to be able to help others. I always seem to have enough for today. I'm grateful I'm eating better!
Tue-Thurs 10-12.8.2010
It's lovely to know how my family count on me, and I am grateful for all that I have been able to pass on about self-worth recently.

Monday 9.8.10
I am extremely thankful that everyone in our family is all talking again! I'm thankful that we've avoided falling out! I'm pleased that I ate sensibly and got some good exercise, and that everyone finished the day safe. I was delighted to be able to make a positive difference to other people and have the opportunity to do more.

Sunday 08.08.10
I'm grateful for Wayne Dyer's book THE POWER OF INTENTION, which so inspired me today. It was great to spend time doing my own thing, having quality time with missus and learning how to use Foursquare and Hootsuite.
I'm grateful there's no pressure on me to do gardening and house maintenance. I had a new opportunity to show my abilities. I have a good relationship with my teenage children, and I see my daughter growing in wisdom and confidence. I am pleased to have found a niche where I can write this blog. I would like to thank those who offered me new insights today, particularly Jamie Dobson, Liz Cable and Julie Black.
This day I gave and received wisdom! I was pleased to discover I didn't really need relief that often after all. I am grateful for another chance to realize my vision tomorrow, where the phone doesn't stop ringing with requests and offers for my help, and I hand in my notice to the "accursed other job". I am very grateful for the growing relationship with my daughter, and to witness her growing in wisdom, insight and confidence, and learning to deal with problems herself.
This day, I wanted for absolutely nothing. I was loved, appreciated, enlightened and pleasured!
Introduction
I often tell my clients to complete a diary last thing, that details all the things that brought gratitude and happiness. I like to lead by example, so having already set up a slimmer's blog, I'm now introducing this one. I was inspired by this quote: the laws of floatation were not derived by thinking of things that sink.
You see, no one ever did anything worthwhile by contemplating things that were wrong, but rather by contemplating the good that was possible. And so, every evening where it's possible, I will contemplate the good in my life, and fully expect more good to follow.
